The processing related to the web services of this site takes place at the aforementioned headquarters of the Controller and is carried out only by personnel expressly authorized by it, or by any third-party providers entrusted with occasional maintenance operations, appointed Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR. The data collected will be stored – for each type of processed data – exclusively for the time necessary to fulfill the specific purposes indicated in the summary information displayed on the site pages and prepared for specific services.

TYPES OF PROCESSED DATA

Navigation Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These are pieces of information not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but which by their nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site.

Data Voluntarily Provided by the User
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of personal data by the user in the registration forms on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the data provided by the sender, necessary for the provision of the requested service. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular services on request.

Anonymous or Aggregate Data
Anonymization is a processing that aims to prevent the identification of the data subject. Anonymous data falls outside the scope of data protection legislation. We collect, process, and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for various purposes. Aggregated data may derive from personal data provided by the user but are not considered personal data because, as specified, they do not allow the identification of the data subject either directly or indirectly. This data will also be used to improve the quality of our existing products/services, develop new features, and for further general research purposes (e.g., to verify how often a specific product or service is used; to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific function of the website, etc.). Since such data do not allow the identification of an individual and are not considered personal, they will be shared with additional third parties, entities, or partners.

COOKIES

Cookies are small text files containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and the user’s terminal (usually the browser). They are mainly used to make websites work and operate more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site itself. Cookies can be either session or persistent. Session cookies are stored on the terminal for a short period and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow secure and efficient browsing of the site. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored on the user’s terminal until a predetermined expiration date. These, not being deleted directly when the browser is closed, allow remembering the choices made by the user on their site as well as collecting information about the pages of the site visited by the user, the frequency with which the site is visited, and identifying the user’s browsing path to improve the experience on this site. Session or persistent cookies can be First-party or Third-party depending on whether the subject installing the cookies on the user’s terminal is the same manager of the site the user is visiting (in which case they are called First-party cookies) or a different subject (in which case they are called Third-party cookies).

SHARING, COMMUNICATION, AND DISCLOSURE OF DATA

The collected data may be transferred or communicated to other companies for activities strictly connected and instrumental to the operation of the service, such as the management of the IT system. Personal data provided by users who submit requests for the sending of informational material (brochures, information material, etc.) are used only to perform the requested service or provision and are communicated to third parties only if necessary for that purpose (companies providing stuffing, labeling, shipping services). Outside of these cases, personal data will not be disclosed unless contractually or legally provided for, or unless specific consent is requested from the data subject. In this sense, personal data may be transmitted to third parties, but only and exclusively if: a) explicit consent is given to share data with third parties; b) there is a need to share information with third parties to provide the requested service; c) it is necessary to comply with requests from the Judicial Authority or Public Security. No data derived from the web service is disclosed.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Data protection regulations expressly provide for certain rights for individuals to whom the data relates (so-called data subjects). In particular, according to Articles 15 and following of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, each data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of data concerning them, to obtain information about the origin and purposes and methods of processing, updating, rectification, integration of data, as well as their deletion if processed unlawfully or if one of the reasons specified in Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 exists.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EU

In cases where the transfer, processing, or access to personal data by entities located outside the European Union is necessary, the Data Controller obtains the necessary guarantees to ensure that the Data transfer is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR (e.g., by checking the possible adequacy decision provided by the Data Protection Authority, verifying the certification of the third party to the Privacy Shield, or alternatively, by entering into specific standard contractual clauses for data protection).

CHANGES TO THESE PRIVACY POLICIES

The Data Controller periodically reviews its privacy and security policy and, if necessary, revises it in relation to legislative, organizational changes, or dictated by technological evolution. In the event of policy changes, the new version will be published on this page of the website.
